Windows Re-activator program allows you to backup and restore the Activation Status of an already activated installation of Windows XP. Windows Re-activator will not circumvent the Windows Activation requirement!
When Windows XP is activated, it creates a special file called wpa.dbl which hold the activation information. The information in this file is specific to the original hardware of the computer it resides on. Using this program, you may backup this file prior to reinstalling Windows XP and thereafter restore the wpa.dbl file.
NOTE: wpa.dbl files cannot be used on any computer other than the one on which they were generated!
