What is beencounter?

Beencounter is a Behavioral Targeting and Behavioral Tracking service. All major ad networks track Internet users across sites they visit. This is done in order to show relevant ads based on the person’s interests rather based on the current site visited. Until now this behavioral targeting and behavioral tracking was not available to site owners. Now, beencounter lets you know which sites your visitors have been to.

How is beencounter different from web analytics?

Web analytics services track what your visitors do in your site and where they came from. Beencounter tells you which sites your visitors have been to, not their referrer click path. Web analytics don’t help you change your content based on visitor profile. beencounter does.

How can I use beencounter?

  • Sign up – When you sign up and create a tracking profile, you will receive a small piece of JavaScript code.
  • Add the tracking code to your site – as with other analytics services, you will need to paste the code you receive on your site’s pages. Adding the code is simple and we provide full instructions.
  • Start tracking – when a visitor comes to your website, the small JavaScript code, that you have added to your site, processes the visitor’s data. This has no effect on the visitor’s browsing experience.
  • View the results – the tracking code sends the data to our servers, so you can view your reports.
