Mozilla decided users should know their rights, Minefield gets new notification
Mozilla Corporation decided to let users know their rights about the softwares that came from them, at least a recently put up notification says so. Developer port of Mozilla’s famous open source browser Firefox, named Minefield recently got a new notification with its current builds. This notification appears just beneath the ‘Tab Bar’ of Minefield when the browser is launched for the first time. Going through that notification also reveals a new ‘about’ page with small snippets from Mozilla’s Terms and License. One can also check this page typing ‘about:rights’ in the address bar aka ‘Awesome Bar’. The page also contains links to Mozilla Public License, Trademark information, Privacy Policies and Service Terms.
