Google has launched its own URL shortner i.e Goog.gl, earlier to this facebook has already launched its own URL Shortner. With this service you can takes long URLs and squeezes into fewer characters to make a link that is easier to share, tweet, or email to friends. The Main aims of this service are as follows:
1. Stability – ensuring that the service has very good uptime
2. Security – protecting users from malware and phishing pages
3. Speed – fast resolution of short URLs
Currently, Google URL Shortener is available for Google products and not for broader consumer use. And Google privacy policy will be applies on the Google URL Shortener.
